Sweet 16 Goes the Distance, Chandler HS Prevails Thursday, April 19th , 2063 The Chandler HS Wolverines and Hoover HS Pirates didn't hold back anything in the Sweet 16, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Quarterfinals. Chandler HS won the final game by a score of 10-6 at Field of the Black Wolves and that concluded the series, 2-1. "Relief is the biggest thing," Chandler HS left fielder Donovan Cofield said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Hoover HS deserves credit for the hard fight." Cofield paced the Chandler HS offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .500 with a .538 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
