Carroll HS Eliminated from Playoff Contention Saturday, April 12th , 2059 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Carroll HS Dragons third baseman Aiden Mero said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. The Dragons have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 34 years as a High School franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Dragons have missed the playoffs 5 times. Carroll HS last won the HS Championship in 2036. |
