Ferguson Hits in 31 Straight Games Saturday, March 17th , 2063 Dave Ferguson, left fielder for the Notre Dame HS Knights, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 31 games with 1 hit in his club's 4-3 victory today over the Alac C Pope HS Generals at Knight Park today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Dave Ferguson flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Cristian Eubanks in the 9th. Presently Ferguson is hitting .400 with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 22 games and scored 15 times. |
