Leishman Smashes 3 HR Tuesday, March 13th , 2063 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Braeden Leishman did today at The Port, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-8. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Leishman said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Gulfport HS Admirals catcher blistered the TC Roberson HS Red Claws for 3 hits, batted in 7 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," TC Roberson HS manager Judd Ramirez said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Braeden Leishman struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Devin Mellen in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Devin Mellen in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off Preston Jahnke in the 7th. To date Leishman has chalked up a .306 average with 8 home runs, driven in 15 runs and scored 15 times. |
