Goodson Cracks 3 HRs for Notre Dame HS Thursday, March 13th , 2059 Jeremy Goodson showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Stoneman Douglas HS Eagles and sparked the Knights to a 13-1 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Knight Park." For the day, Goodson collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Notre Dame HS skipper Chayse Tijerina said. "Jeremy really put on a show." Jeremy Goodson hit a two-run home run off Keegan Boltz in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Keegan Boltz in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Erick Thomas in the 8th. In his season totals, Goodson has 11 home runs, .397 BA, .511 OBP, 27 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 19 games. |
