5-for-6 Game for Mero Tuesday, March 23rd , 2060 Aiden Mero was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at The Lair, the Carroll HS third baseman blistered the Cullman HS Cavaliers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 7-6 victory. "Mero was too tough to get out today," Cavaliers skipper Roman Foster said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Aiden Mero singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
