Ed Stalker Hurt, Out for Year Tuesday, March 16th , 2060 Ed Stalker will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Huntington Beach HS starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Stalker was injured while throwing a pitch in the Oilers-Patriots clash at The Beach recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 7 months. This year Stalker has fashioned a 1-1 mark, 3.62 ERA and pitched 27.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .291 against him and he has logged 21 strikeouts. |
