Pirates 2B Tarry Gets the Cycle Monday, March 15th , 2060 Kieran Tarry accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball today when he hit for the cycle against the Cullman HS Cavaliers in the 13-10 Hoover HS Pirates win at Buccaneer Place. Afterward, Tarry acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Pirates win. "Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Tarry said. On his historic day, he went 4-for-6 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books. Kieran Tarry hit a solo-shot off Phil Kiernan in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
