Big Bang! 3 HR for Carroll HS's Graham Wednesday, March 6th , 2058 Germaine Graham was in a home run mode today at The Lair. The Carroll HS first baseman massacred Gamblers pitching, cracking out three home runs and going 3-for-5 with 6 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. But this sensational performance didn't really matter. Bishop Gorman HS won the ballgame 11-10 despite the three homers. "I wish a big 'W' had come with this," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but the bottom line is whether you win or lose." Nonetheless, Graham will now have a place in the league record book. "I guess when you're hot, you're hot," he said. "I'm not going up there trying to hit home runs. I put the good part of the bat on it and luckily three of them went out today." Germaine Graham hit a two-run home run off Kevin Patterson in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jeremy Herman in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Max Dixon in the 9th. This season in 10 games Graham is batting .250 with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and has scored 3 times. |
