Bowden 5-for-6 Against Falcons Friday, February 20th , 2060 Even as a kid, Brendan Bowden said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At The Falcon Nest today, Bowden showed how well he learned that lesson. The 16-year-old shortstop had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Sulphur HS Golden Tornados, helping his team knock off the Deer Park HS Falcons by a score of 20-2. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today." Brendan Bowden singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
