Arizona Moves on to Regionals Monday, May 12th , 2053 It went the distance, but the Arizona Wildcats finally disposed of the Arizona State Sun Devils 4-1 in the series clincher at Packard Stadium. Winning the finale gave the Wildcats the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Regionals. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Arizona left fielder Conor Blankenship. He batted .333 in the series, collecting 2 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. "Conor deserves it," said Wildcats manager Joey Voirin. "He was the glue that held our club together."
