HL Awards Best Batter Prize to Long Monday, July 2nd , 2063 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Herbert League. The award went to Justin Long, first baseman of the Fresno Chilies. He dominated league pitchers with a .524 average to win the honor. Long went 11-for-21 for the week, totaled 4 home runs with 10 RBIs and scored 9 times. Thus far this year Long is batting .281 with 17 home runs, 40 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
