Fresno's Long HL #1 Batter in June Sunday, July 1st , 2063 Justin Long put together a good June to earn the Herbert League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Fresno officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Chilies first baseman posted a .398 batting average with 10 home runs, 21 RBIs and 28 runs scored. In his stats this season, Long has posted a batting average of .274 with 54 hits in 197 at-bats, 16 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has also scored 49 runs, walked 46 times and compiled a .411 OBP. |
