Segal Belts 5 Hits Saturday, June 21st , 2059 It was a sensational day at the plate for Los Cayos Jellyfish third baseman Cole Segal, but a tough one for the team, as the Jellyfish dropped the contest 12-11 to the Vancouver Mounties. Even with the loss, Segal was pure misery for the Vancouver pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-6 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Segal, who is the 24-year old third baseman . "Segal really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Mounties manager Ben Clewley told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Cole Segal struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jasper Healey in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 12th.
