Heston on Fire: 5-for-6 for Tallahassee
Tuesday, June 17th , 2059
After a 5-hit effort to lead Tallahassee's 12-5 victory over the Janesville Rolling Thunder, shortstop Colt Heston told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Bush League-level is really something special."

The 23-year-old player earned his accolades today at Birmingham Grounds with a spectacular 5-for-6 game against the Rolling Thunder.

"His swing is getting there," said Thunder skipper Jamie Blakely, who spoke glowingly of Heston after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Colt did that to perfection today."

Colt Heston singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.

Presently Heston is hitting .303 with 3 home runs and 33 RBIs. He has played in 52 games and scored 42 times.
