Ironbirds Luzak and Knights Perry Suspended for Fight Tuesday, June 17th , 2064 If there wasn't a history between O.K. Luzak of Aberdeen and Mathew Perry of Kingsville , then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Luzak said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year, Luzak has 4 home runs and a .224 batting average. This season, Perry has a 3-2 record with a 4.99 ERA in 9 starts. |
