Duthie Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, May 3rd , 2060 Not every ball that came off B.J. Duthie's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Vicksburg Dirtbags. For his exploits, Duthie was named this week's Herbert League Player of the Week award. The Vicksburg left fielder put up 10 hits in 19 at-bats and 1 home run while hitting .526 with 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this season in 14 games Duthie is batting .347 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 17 hits in 49 at-bats. |
