The future looks extremely bright for Abraham Koziarz. At the age of 18, many players are still trying to find their way in Bush League.

Koziarz has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Walker League Outstanding Hitter Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .315 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.

The Fort Myers Capitals star also put up a .378 on-base percentage this year, with 138 hits, 38 doubles, 7 triples, 21 home runs, 106 RBIs and 95 runs scored.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 24. Dominick Hanneken of the Eugene Sting finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Tom Oliver of the Tallahassee Thunder finished third with 2 first place votes.
