Capitals Win Wild Card Friday, September 12th , 2059 Mark one up for the Fort Myers Capitals. In the crucial final game, they put away the Tallahassee Thunder 7-6 at Frontier Park to win the Wild Card, 2-1 and advance to the Divisional Series. Although his team came up short, Tallahassee's Chase Barkow was named the series MVP, with many of the league media feeling the series would have been over much sooner if not for his contributions. "Barkow did a lot to keep Tallahassee in it, no doubt about that," said Capitals manager Al Ryan. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
