No Playoff Berth Coming for Barre Thursday, September 4th , 2059 The mood in the Barre Grays clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Grays reliever Elmer Malay. "Nobody to blame but us." Before this season, the Grays last missed the playoffs in 2057. In the 82 years they have been a Bush League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 59 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Grays have made the playoffs 4 times.
