Rankin Grabs HL Best Batter Award for August Monday, September 1st , 2059 Reading Railers fans believe they've got a talented young star in Nick Rankin. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .374 with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 23 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Herbert League Batter of the Month. In this current campaign Rankin is hitting at a .322 clip with 24 home runs and 80 RBIs. |
