Aberdeen Catcher Nets HL Award Monday, September 1st , 2059 Ted Walker of the Aberdeen Ironbirds was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Walker put up some great numbers and hauled in the Herbert League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .500 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. The 23-year-old catcher also scored 7 runs and for the week went 12-for-24. This season Walker is swinging the bat at a .335 rate with 77 hits in 230 at-bats. To date he has hit 13 home runs, scored 38 runs and driven in 40. |
