Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 6 Games Monday, August 30th , 2060 Los Cayos's Ardell Cantu and Erie's Andy Klasen have been handed 6-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Los Cayos Place. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Cantu and Klasen provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Cantu is hitting .301 this year with 19 home runs, 83 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 136 hits in 452 at-bats, 68 walks and a .394 on-base percentage. Cantu has played in 115 games. For the season Klasen has compiled a 4-6 record with a 7.81 ERA. |
