WL's Top Hitter Announced Friday, August 1st , 2059 Joseph Skehan put together a good July to earn the Walker League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Little Rock officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Travelers first baseman posted a .327 batting average with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Skehan is batting .294 with 17 home runs. He has scored 54 runs and driven in 55. |
