Goodson Bags HL Best Player Award Monday, August 1st , 2061 Jeremy Goodson demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Herbert League Player of the Week Award. The Reading catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .333 average (7-for-21) with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Goodson has collected a .286 batting average to date with 85 hits in 297 at-bats, 54 RBIs, 18 home runs and scored 50 times. He has played in 77 games. |
