Bauer and Jenkins Suspended, Out 5 Games Friday, July 25th , 2059 At a recent Redhawks-Palmettos contest at Shield Ballpark, Chayse Bauer of Rockville took exception to what Tristen Jenkins of Cienfuegos said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 5 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." On the year Bauer has hit .242 with 1 home run, 25 RBIs and scored 23 runs. This year Jenkins has 40 relief appearances, saving 0.
