Super Swinger -- Lloyd Slams 5 Hits Saturday, August 14th , 2060 It was high-fives all around for Kyle Lloyd at Robin Roberts Field today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Vancouver Mounties. Lloyd smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 14-3 win. "Kyle was hitting everything," said Grays manager Dave Boeser. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Mounties manager Ben Clewley told BNN beat writers that Lloyd "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Lloyd oversleeps next time." Kyle Lloyd hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Geoff Wilt in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
