Lyle Callies was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 16-11 Barre Grays triumph at Dirtbag Park today.

The 22-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Grays past the Vicksburg Dirtbags.

"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Callies told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."

The right fielder went 3-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 5 runs on his record-setting day.

Lyle Callies hit a solo-shot off Dan Huckeba in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dan Huckeba in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Garrick Rosu in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, walked in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.

Callies is currently hitting at a .305 pace with 15 home runs and 45 RBIs.
