Dyer Wins HL Prize, Named Best Hitter in June Tuesday, July 1st , 2059 For a rookie just breaking in, Landon Dyer certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the HL Batter of the Month award for June. The 24-year-old first baseman for the Fresno Chilies hit .369 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 29 runs scored. In 64 games this season Dyer has compiled a .317 batting average with 82 hits and 14 home runs. He has also scored 50 times and knocked in 38 runs. |
