Warthogs End Ellison's Streak Wednesday, June 25th , 2059 Willy Ellison of the Trenton Liberty came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Trenton dropped the game to the Winston-Salem Warthogs 14-4. "It was not a good day today," Ellison told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Ellison is currently batting .317 with 6 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
