Dorfmeyer 5-for-5 Against Flyers Sunday, June 22nd , 2059 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Landon Dorfmeyer today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Gulf Coast Field and paced the Toros to a 5-4 win over the Flagstaff Flyers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Tucson second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Landon Dorfmeyer singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Trae Onyebuchi in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
