Stringer's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Tuesday, April 29th , 2059 The Moscow Mules fell to the Portsmouth Atlantics in Market Square Park today, even as 27-year-old right fielder Donald Stringer upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Stringer finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Mules from dropping the 5-0 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Stringer. Donald Stringer singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
