Wednesday, October 15th , 2059
He may have less experience than most of his Horizon League peers, but that didn't slow Adrien Mondragon down at all in 2059.

At the age of 23, the Flushing center fielder has been named the winner of the Blue Chip Coalition Outstanding Hitter Award.

He had a .321 batting average and a .380 on-base percentage this year. In 117 games he piled up 157 hits, 35 doubles, 10 triples, 9 home runs, 74 RBIs and 87 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 24. Kyle O'Brien of the Vancouver Thunderbirds finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Keon Kakazai of the Bakersfield Cannons finished third with 2 first place votes.
