Carlos Kinney Captures Prestigious Trophy Wednesday, October 15th , 2059 The manager of the Ottawa Beavers said he thinks Carlos Kinney is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2059 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Futures Federation Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .335 batting average and a .390 on-base percentage this year. In 109 games he piled up 146 hits, 28 doubles, no triples, 26 home runs, 71 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 24.
