Trenton's Foster Takes 2063 Outstanding Hitter Award

Toby Foster took Horizon League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Trenton Liberty star has been named the 2063 Blue Chip Coalition Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .269 batting average to go with a .345 on-base percentage. The native of Newport, Oregon also added 29 doubles, 6 triples, 29 home runs, 74 RBIs and 81 runs scored.
He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dwayne Bushell of the Flushing Chiefs finished second in voting, while Quinton Welch of the Richmond Rams finished third.
