Divisional Series Goes the Distance, Quebec Prevails
Thursday, September 18th , 2059
The Divisional Series went the distance before it all was said and done.

The Quebec Fighting Quakers and the Fort Wayne Herons went at it tooth-and-nail and when it was over at The Barn, the winner was the Fighting Quakers.

They put away Fort Wayne 1-0 to cinch the series and won the right to move onto the League Championship.

For his fine play, even in a losing effort, Fort Wayne center fielder Chase Davison was given the series Most Valuable Player Award. He hit .583, scored 3 runs and batted in 1 to win the honor.

"It's nice that someone noticed my numbers, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a win," he said.

The League Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
