Beavers Prevail, as Wild Card Goes to the Wire Friday, September 14th , 2063 Submarines Ballpark played host to the climax of an exciting Wild Card tonight. The Ottawa Beavers and Fort Wayne Herons battled hard throughout the whole series, for the chance to move on to the Divisional Series. In the end, Ottawa won the final game by a score of 4-2 and took the series 2-1. "I think fans got their money's worth in this series. It was just great baseball all the way around," said Beavers starting pitcher JaQuan Wamugunda, who earned the nod as series MVP. "Ottawa fans especially, I'm sure they're all worked up right now."
