Warthogs Cruise to Divisional Series with Sweep Wednesday, September 12th , 2063 J.J. Evans said he expected the Wild Card to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Winston-Salem Warthogs encountered little resistance in sweeping the Flushing Chiefs, to advance to the Divisional Series. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Evans. Winston-Salem won the final game by a 5-3 count and were led in the series by Evans, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .667 with 0 home runs. He also drove in 0 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
