BCC Batter of the Month Honors to Reney Monday, September 1st , 2059 Evan Reney is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Juarez left fielder joined that select company when the Blue Chip Coalition announced the results of August's voting. Reney totaled 18 hits, 4 walks, 11 home runs, 24 RBIs and 15 runs scored last month to put together a .243 batting average and .278 on-base percentage. For the season Reney is batting .242 with 76 hits and 20 home runs. He has scored 41 times and batted in 70. |
