Speight Bewilders Warthogs in 2-0 Shutout Saturday, July 19th , 2059 Marcus Speight of the Trenton Liberty was on fire against the Winston-Salem Warthogs at Trenton Grounds today. He shut them out 2-0 on 1 hit, collecting 8 strikeouts and allowing 2 walks. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Speight said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."
