Great Day for Douglass -- 5 Hits Monday, June 30th , 2059 It was a big day for Mason Douglass and he brought the New York Comets along for the ride. Douglass led his club to a 14-4 victory over the Monterrey Killer Whales today at Ballpark of New York, smoking Monterrey pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 26-year-old third baseman later called the victory "sweet." Mason Douglass hit a two-run home run off Jessie Fisher in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
