Carlton 5-for-6 Against Toronto
Sunday, June 19th , 2061
It seemed Pittsburgh Millers right fielder Byron Carlton could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.

The Millers fell against the Toronto Canadians by the score of 9-8. Carlton did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Toronto prevailed at Dylan Owens Stadium.

"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Carlton said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."

Byron Carlton doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Brian Clark in the 9th and struck out in the 10th.

So far this season Carlton has gotten 72 hits in 213 at-bats for a .338 batting average with 13 home runs. His stats include 35 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has played in 63 games.
