Memmi Bashes 3 HR for Maine Friday, June 3rd , 2061 The New Orleans Voodoo won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Frank Memmi of the Maine Guides. He victimized the Voodoo by pounding three pitches out of Old Port Park to spark his club to the 9-3 win. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Memmi told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Frank Memmi hit a solo-shot off Conner Cook in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Max Biggers in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Harrison Ford in the 6th and walked in the 8th. This season Memmi is batting .252 with 20 home runs. His totals include 39 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
