Drillers Albano DL Hitter of the Week Monday, June 2nd , 2059 Aubrey Albano, known affectionately as "the old man" by the younger players in the Drillers clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week -- and in the process the 38-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Domestic League Player of the Week Award. He put up a .560 batting average, 14 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs and 3 RBIs. Albano also scored 6 runs. During the current season Albano is batting at a .354 clip with no home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 48 games and scored 28 times. |
