League Suspends Sayers and Navratil for Fisticuffs Wednesday, May 11th , 2050 Sean Sayers of the Pawtucket Patriots and Calvin Navratil of the Carolina Tobs will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Patriots-Tobs game at Pawtucket Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Sayers and Navratil will begin serving them soon. Sayers is swinging at a .351 pace on the year with 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 29 games. This year Navratil has no wins and 6 losses and a 6.65 ERA. |
