Morgenson Clips Tobs for Cycle Sunday, May 19th , 2052 Julian Morgenson truly did it all at Henry Byrd Field today. The New Orleans Voodoo catcher hit for the cycle -- collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- as he paced his club to victory, 12-4 over the Carolina Tobs. "You know that sweet sound you hear when you hit the ball just right? I heard that every time today," Morgenson said later. "It was a heck of a feeling." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed Carolina pitching for 4 hits in 5 at-bats and his name will now go into the record books. Morgenson also racked up 3 runs batted in and 3 runs scored in the game. Julian Morgenson singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Zack Timlin in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
