Goranson Reaches 2000 Tuesday, April 27th , 2060 It was a banner day for Damian Goranson, who collected his 2000th hit in the Syracuse 4-2 win over Pawtucket. Goranson went 1-for-3 in the game as both Snappers and Patriots fans cheered Goranson when he reached base after his hit. "It feels great to get #2000," Goranson said afterward, "especially since we won the game." Looking at his all-time stats, Goranson has a career .300 average with 2000 hits, 439 doubles, 28 triples, 29 home runs and 659 RBIs to date.
