Kodiaks End van Luik's Streak Tuesday, May 6th, 2042 Richie van Luik's 21-game hitting streak was snapped today at The Port of Seattle. The 26-year-old Seattle Pilots right fielder failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats in the game against the California Kodiaks, but Seattle came out the winner, 5-4. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Richie," Pilots manager Xavier Jefferson said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames."
