Pawtucket Announces Deal for Veteran LF Sunday, January 4th , 2054 The Pawtucket Patriots have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of left fielder Sean Sayers to a 1-year, $1,900,000 contract. Both Sayers and the Patriots are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement. Sayers has played in 1820 games and is hitting .295 lifetime with 1007 RBIs, 1893 hits, 381 doubles, 51 triples and 302 home runs. He has scored 1021 times and stolen 11 bases. |
