Bats-Exports Trade: Jackson for Norkus

BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Washington Bats and Montreal Exports has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 26-year old RHP Jeremy Jackson and a 1st round draft pick to Montreal in return for 25-year old 2B Zechariah Norkus and 26-year old LF Derek Engledow. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it.
In his career Jackson has made 146 appearances with a 34-24 record and tossed 566 innings with 578 strikeouts. Batters have hit .263 against him, his lifetime ERA stands at 4.09 and he has accumulated 6 saves.
Over his career Norkus has batted .270 and collected 395 hits, 49 home runs and 179 RBIs.
